Grappa di Montepulciano Toro
It is a very special “grappa” of Montepulciano, made from the distillation of fresh marc and rich of must from which produced the special wine doc Montepulciano d’Abruzzo.
After the alcoholic fermentation of these exceptional grapes, the distillation is made using the traditional vapour method, through a special alembic that exalts the original characteristic respecting the traditional products of Toro.
Enrico Toro’s experience consists of choosing the period in which the product of the distillation has the best characteristics.
Recently the “grappa” has been the best protagonist of a new trend: “grappa” is ok after lunch or dinner, it must be served to a temperature not superior to 12 C, but it is also very good mixed to cocktails or with sushi, or caviar or cacao, it’s good even smoking a good cigar.
